Goddess Weekend

Start date: 29 September 2018
End date: 30 September 2018
Location: Oxford

Together with Christina Rodenbeck and Lynn Bell, Faye will be part of this weekend in Oxford. While Lynn will be discussing Vesta and Juno, and Christina Pallas, Faye will be covering her favourite goddess Ceres. Now that Ceres is on an equal footing with Pluto, should we use her in our work?

As well as a brief look at the astronomy, history and the myth of Ceres, Faye will look at four different faces of this goddess. By showing Ceres in mundane and individual work, she suggests meaning and themes that can be given to this archetype.

Four of the faces of Ceres

The Suffragette Ceres

The Environmental Ceres

Using case studies and examples from the audience, (so bring your charts with Koch houses) we shall gain insight into what Ceres is asking of us now, both personally and in the world. What is coming into consciousness and how can we (also as astrologers) make use of her energies in today’s world?

For a taste of what’s in store you can listen to Vanessa Couto’s podcast – a conversation with Faye in  Ceres gets a promotion.
